So, I recently wandered into Cafe Tandoor, a cozy little spot tucked away at 2096 S Taylor Rd in Cleveland Heights. Now, if you’re like me and have a soft spot for Indian cuisine, this place might just become your new go-to.
From the moment I stepped in, the atmosphere embraced me. You know that vibe? It’s like an invitation to unwind. There’s this lovely sitar music playing softly in the background, creating an ambiance that screams, “Let’s chat and enjoy a good meal!” I also loved how clean everything felt—big plus!
As for the food, wow! The menu boasted a delightful array of options. I’ve gotta shout out the onion kulcha—definitely a must-try! Everything was aromatic and, dare I say, pretty darn tasty. People rave about the chicken biryani and butter chicken, and honestly, they’re not exaggerating. However, just a heads up, they do charge extra for rice, which some folks might find a bit cheeky.
Service? Well, it was mostly stellar! Our waiter was attentive, and I had the sense that the staff genuinely wanted us to have a great time. That said, I did notice a few comments about some slow nights when the place gets packed. So, if you happen to pop in on a Saturday, maybe keep that in mind.
