Discovering Pat’s Place in Melbourne
Stumbling across Pat’s Place was kind of like finding a hidden treasure. Tucked away at 279 E Eau Gallie Blvd, this cozy Greek restaurant has become a go-to spot for many locals. Seriously, I can’t believe I didn’t know it existed until recently!
The vibe? Totally chill. You walk in, and bam! It feels like you’re at a friend’s house rather than a restaurant. The staff? Super friendly and ready to help. You know how some places feel sterile? Not here. They genuinely care, and it shows.
Let’s chat about the food. Wow. Just wow. The gyros? Best I’ve had in Florida, hands down. I mean, people rave about them for good reason! Fresh ingredients, bursting with flavors that dance on your taste buds. The Greek salads? They’re a whole meal on their own with all sorts of fresh goodies loaded up on the plate. And the baklava? I could eat that until the cows come home!
Now, this little gem doesn’t skimp on prices either. Most meals come at reasonable rates, making it an easy choice for a nice lunch or dinner without breaking the bank. You’d be surprised how fast your food comes out, too. Nobody likes waiting around when you’re hungry!
I hear they’re open from 11 AM to 7 PM, which works unless you’re craving a late-night gyro, then you’re outta luck since they’re closed on Sundays.
A little tip for newcomers: don’t trust Google Maps blindly! It can lead you to the wrong place. Just look for the Plaza, and you’ll find it. Many folks have had to learn this the hard way, but once you’re there, you’ll swear you found a secret spot everyone should know.
I don’t know about you, but I’m definitely going back to try more items on the menu. Honestly, Pat’s Place is becoming my new fave spot. If you find yourself in Melbourne, don’t miss it!
